Lorenzo Quinn: Trust Sculpture

Lorenzo Quinn Trust

Artist: Lorenzo Quinn (Italian)

Son of Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn, Lorenzo Quinn is an artist of exceptional talent who is recognised widely as one of the World's greatest living sculptors.

He has produced commissioned work for the United Nations, the Government of Qatar and the Vatican - his work was blessed by the Pope in front of a crowd of 35,000.

His work also features in the collections of King Juan Carlos of Spain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (ruler of Dubai), Donald Trump, Sir Bernie Ecclestone, Sir Elton John, Lakshmi Mittal and Rudolph Guiliani.

Over the last 20 years, Quinn's works have been exhibited internationally at prestigious venues such as the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, Valencia’s Institute of Modern Art, the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale and in Park Lane, London as part of the City of Westminster's City of Sculpture Festival.

He is best known for powerful representations of human hands. Quinn describes the emotion behind the piece: "I wanted to sculpt what is considered the hardest and most technically challenging part of the human body. The hand holds so much power – the power to love, to hate, to create, to destroy."

Description: A stunning sculpture of a male hand gently supporting a female figure. Lorenzo Quinn comments: "The most wonderful feeling and greatest responsibility is that of knowing that someone has complete trust in you. That feeling of total unabated abandonment in your hands."

Provenance: You will receive a certificate of authentication showing the edition number and Lorenzo Quinn's signature and guaranteed as represented. Additionally, the sculpture has a Lorenzo Quinn signature and edition number very subtly inscribed onto the hand by the artist.

Opinion: Photographs simply cannot do Lorenzo Quinn's sculpture justice. Trust is a highly desirable artwork and this artist's hugely popular works are quickly being snapped up and therefore disappearing from the market fast. Quinn's art looks increasingly to be a outstanding investment.
